Canvas is a cloud-based learning management system. It can be accessed by going to: https://dps.instructure.com/login/ldap

2. How do I communicate with my teacher?
Once you have logged into Canvas and entered your DLD course, you will see a link to access your teacher's e-mail address. This will be the best way to communicate with your teacher during our Extended DLD.

3. What if our family does not have Wifi, or we have trouble getting on our Wifi at home?
External Wireless is now available at Blue Ridge in the back parking lot, in addition to the front parking lot at Park Creek, the front parking lot at City Park and the East parking lot of Dalton High.

4. What if my computer and/or charger stops working?
In an effort for them to limit their exposure, the tech department will begin next week only providing tech assistance at the following schools: Blue Ridge, City Park, Park Creek and Dalton High School from the hours of 9 AM to 3PM. If your students have issues with their computer or need a charger, please share these new hours with them.

7. How do I sign into my student device?
All students grades PK-12 grade have a student number (6 digits) that begins with a zero, and a password. If your child does not know their student number and/or password, you can reach out to their teacher for this information. They will use this number and password to sign into their device. If an older sibling has a device, and a younger sibling does not, they can share a device!

8. How do I access EPIC to read books at home?
EPIC is only available until 4:00 PM on Monday through Friday. If you need to access EPIC outside of these hours, please check with your teacher on how to do this.
