Dalton, GA— Dalton High School will host its annual Homecoming celebration, themed “Catamounts Through the Ages,” on Friday, September 19, 2025. The day’s activities will include a pep session, a community parade, alumni recognition, and the Homecoming football game.
The festivities will begin with a Pep Session at 9:45 a.m. Following the pep session, all vehicles must be moved to the lower parking lot located near the greenhouse and softball field side of the building.
At 12:00 p.m., vehicles participating in the Homecoming parade may begin arriving at Dalton High School. Schools, community groups, and reunion classes are encouraged to be ready for departure by 2:45 p.m. The Homecoming Parade will officially leave Dalton High School at 3:00 p.m. and proceed through Downtown Dalton.
This year’s parade will highlight Dalton High School alumni from the graduating classes of 1975, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2015. Other alumni classes interested in participating are invited to contact Amy Gleaton at Amy.Gleaton@dalton.k12.ga.us.
In addition to the parade, the Dalton Education Foundation will host its annual “Paint the Town Red” Tailgate Fundraiser at the National Guard Armory next to Harmon Field from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will take place prior to the evening’s football game.
The Homecoming celebration will conclude with the Catamounts football game against Allatoona High School at Harmon Field, kickoff at 7:30 p.m. The crowning of the Homecoming Queen will take place during halftime.
