Our 1st grade DLI classes learned about George Washington Carver, an important scientist and inventor who made many discoveries using peanuts. To wrap up our study, students tasted peanut foods and then created a class graph to share their favorites!

We also hosted a special Westwood Reading Challenge, and our winning classes scored big with Tailgate Baskets filled with snacks, brand-new books, and a fun surprise.
