As a class, Ms. Gomez's class sorted crayons to reach their goal of counting 1,000 crayons. First, they made groups of ten. Then, they took ten groups of ten to make 100. Finally, they counted by hundreds until we reached 1,000!

Utilizing geometry, patterns, and symmetry in art enhances creativity and problem solving. Students in Mrs. Smith and Ms. Hawkins’ class explore composing shapes by combining two-dimensional shapes.

Mr. Allred’s scholars are learning about fractions! Today, in addition to their warm-up, number talks, and learning plan, they are finding fraction equivalents with improper fractions and mixed numbers. They love math and learning!
