What an incredible day at City Park Elementary!

Our Cheer Club proudly welcomed the DHS Boys’ Basketball team to campus today in celebration of World Kindness Day and our Thanksgiving lunch. The players jumped right in—helping with our PAWSitive Panthers recognition ceremony, sharing conversations with students during lunch, and even joining in the fun at recess.

Today was all about building meaningful relationships, and our students were absolutely thrilled to connect with these outstanding role models. Thank you, DHS Basketball, for bringing energy, kindness, and Panther pride to our school! Be sure to check out our album on Facebook for more great photos!🐾🏀

🦃 Student Thanksgiving Lunch – Thursday, November 13! 🦃

We’re excited to celebrate Thanksgiving Lunch with our students on Thursday, November 13 during their regularly scheduled lunch times! Students are invited to dress their best for this special event!

This special day also happens to be World Kindness Day — a perfect time to share gratitude and kindness across our school community.

Members of the Dalton High Boys Basketball Team will be joining our students for lunch and recess to help build relationships across schools.

We’ll also take time to recognize our November PAWSitive Panthers who have shown this month’s character trait: Gratitude. Parents of these students will receive a special invitation with details to join their child for the celebration.

It’s going to be a wonderful day of connection, kindness, and thankfulness here at City Park Elementary! 🍂

Today, we pause to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication. At City Park Elementary, we are proud to recognize our very own staff members who have served, as well as the family members of our students who have worn the uniform in defense of our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Their service reminds us of the true meaning of sacrifice and patriotism. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to protecting our nation.

Thank you, veterans — today and every day, we salute you! 👏

Today our City Park Panthers came together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇺🇸💙

Students led us in songs, poems, and tributes to say thank you to our veterans for their service and sacrifice. It was a powerful reminder of the freedoms we enjoy and the importance of gratitude and respect.

To all of the veterans who joined us today—and to those in our community and beyond—thank you for your courage, your service, and your example. We are proud to honor you today and every day. ❤️🤍💙
